English translations produced by the majority of non-native speakers are most often lacking in accuracy and fluency, and can contain a great deal of grammatical errors — errors that a native speaker would never make. The result is that these translations require a considerable amount of proofreading and editing in order for them to read with a satisfactory degree of accuracy and fluency.
